 One last Comets rally fell short and the home team finished its first year in the DCMABL with a disappointing loss in the American Division semi finals.  Three RBI from Todd Wass, four hits from Fran Ciociola, and three hits from Brett Mandel were just not enough to complete the playoff comeback.

 The Comets started off the playoffs the wrong way as the hits, errors, and bounces all went the wrong way.  Fran Ciociola and Brett Mandel rapped out three hits each and Tommy Jackson added three RBI, but it wasn't enough for the Comets who now face elimination.
