FATHER DIVINE:
"Our salutation Peace, at this present instance, especially in the European countries, is much needed, not only as a salutation but something to be recognized, something to be realized and something to be personified.
"We realize, that which we often reiterate, rehearse whichever, we become to be a part of it, and we bring into our experience that which we have spoken into consideration.
"The word Peace in our salutation is not strange; in other words, it should not be strange to orthodoxy, for as it was in the beginning of the creation Peace was handed down to the children of men and through the leaders of the Children of Israel, they used the selfsame salutation in the Hebrew tongue." - July 10, 1941 A.D.F.D.
"The word Peace, coming from the heart as a salutation should be established in your memory and in the minds of others for the consideration of all humanity. We do not mean to merely say Peace with and for an ulterior motive, but we mean to produce this Peace of which we are stressing, and bring it into actuality that all mankind might realize it and enjoy it universally!" - February 12, 1939 A.D.F.D.
"If you retrace your thoughts back to the experience of Jesus, the great Love Master, when CHRIST came among the children of men visionally - in other words inspirationally as a revelation, as it may be termed - there was the sound of voices of the spiritual unfoldment of GOD'S Presence as though the voices were coming from heaven, singing:
Glory to GOD in the highest and on earth Peace, Good Will to men.
"When this shall have been reckoned and recognized among the children of men, we shall have a Righteous Government and the governments, as they may be termed, of our civilization universally will harmonize together nationally and internationally, even as we harmonize individually, severally and collectively here.
"This is MY Work, MY Aim and MY Purpose - to bring the reality of the Universal Brotherhood of Man and the conscious realization of the FATHERHOOD of GOD; and when this shall have been established, wars will be no more." - May 14, 1939 A.D.F.D.
