FATHER DIVINE:
"Out of one Spirit GOD created and awakened all religious unfoldments and advancements and degrees of unfoldment whereto you have been called, and you can comprehend with all saints!
"All faiths and all beliefs proceeded and came forth from the same source, though under their degrees of unfoldment and of advancement, coming through the murks and mires of human superstition and their barriers and their limitations, yet Perfection shall be attained." - July 4, 1942 A.D.F.D.
"What cometh religion for to the children of men? The religions through and from the old world came even before the foundation of the world, as it is termed. Religion was for the purpose of bringing righteousness or bringing right-use-ness of things into display on earth among the children of men. I did not come too late! If you speak of the religions of the Muhammadans, speak of the religions of the Buddhists and the religions of the Jews, and then the Christian religions; all of the different religions from the ages, were to bring CHRIST, in other words, GOD in righteousness to the people, that they might have a righteous government.
"I came in this last dispensation, recognizing and realizing the unfoldment, the Author and the Finisher of all religions. I AM drawing the essence and the substance from every religion recognizable, that the righteousness of all religions might be established in us, and fulfill the prayer of which you all have prayed;
'Let Thy Kingdom come and Thy Will be done.'
"The religious of the heavenly aspect of all religions must come from the different versions, into recognition and be established on the earth plane among us. Isn't that Wonderful!" - December 26, 1936 A.D.F.D.
". . . But that is MY Thought. And I hope that we all, as religious people, whether you are Christians or Jews or even Muhammad or Buddhists, we hope to get together closer in the unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose, to bring an end to all divisibility among us! Just as I have it on MY immediate staff, so shall it be from shore to shore and from land to land! Every obstruction of a division shall be completely dispelled, as well as eradicated, every obstruction of a division; and we, the people, believing in one GOD, shall bring all nations into that one big family of GOD! the universal brotherhood of man and the FATHERHOOD of GOD!
"Now I say 'the FATHERHOOD of GOD.' I hope no one will get the misconception of MY point of view and say that I will bring all people into subjection to ME and be one Brotherhood and I will be the FATHER of all. I did not say that.
"I said, through the FATHERHOOD of GOD - Something that, a Principle that - a Supreme Being that has the control over all nations, languages, tongues and peoples and rules the world with Truth and Grace, and shall cause the nations to prove the Glory of HIS Righteousness and the wonders of HIS Love! We all shall be free! As we are a free people we all shall be free by the Constitution of this great country and by the Declaration of Independence and by the privilege and the right we have to serve GOD according to the dictates of our own conscience. I AM causing many to take a-hold of it -the servitude of GOD - and no longer be subject to the previous conditions of servitude but I AM causing them to take a-hold of the servitude of GOD with sincere devotion and love for one and all!

"I have many followers in Australia and in New Zealand and in Switzerland and even in Germany proper, of whom have never seen ME in Person, and yet they are blessed by the conviction of the Consciousness of the Presence of GOD the same as if though they would be here in person! They are successful, they are prosperous even as we are, because they are under the selfsame headings and the doctrine of GOD through the prophets, the sages and the seers, through the Christ, the apostles and the epistles of the apostles.
"Our doctrine is mainly founded upon the Sermon on the Mount in the New Testament of the Bible, while yet we embrace all religions both old and new, but especially we recognize Judaism and Americanism, Democracy and Brotherhood and Christianity as synonymous. When we live these fundamental principles of life and embody them in our daily lives we feel that we are emphasizing the true life that is suitable for man to live by and for the world to come! By so doing we are customarily, under MY Spiritual Guidance, successful and prosperous, healthy and happy, honest, competent and true!
"We emphasize and stress honesty as one of the main keynotes to salvation and the hope of the redemption of mankind! Since honesty and these other virtues are not personalities and individualities, all can be partakers of the same nature and characteristics of these qualities we are emphasizing, and they can reach each and every person wheresoever he or she may be found! It is Wonderful! It is unimaginable but it is true!" - November 29, 1949 A.D.F.D.
"I AM bringing Judaism in and I AM bringing Buddhism in, for Buddha is right here with ME and in ME to guide the way of those of the Orient and those from afar off, that they might see HIM as HE is and speak to them, though as invisible HE has been; but no longer invisible, for GOD from the different angles of expression shall speak in Person through the children of men and all will eventually learn and understand HIM! Aren't you glad!
"Such a privilege to realize, GOD deals in the affairs of men, and from every religious foundation stands the Spirit of that One as to the Christian world - Jesus is CHRIST! As to Buddha and his following, Buddha is the CHRIST still living and still present everywhere they go, because it was a Principle Personified and observed and visualized! They have the Presence of such a Principle with them materialized and reproduced and materialized over and over again! Therefore, we rejoice to see the different religions coming in, bringing their representation from every field of activity and especially from every field of devotion and from that deepest and conscientious and sincerest Inner Urge from whence their religion sprang!
"Let us rejoice and be glad and observe the Mystery of GOD'S Presence in the Name of Jesus, in the Name of CHRIST and in the Name of Buddha and in the Name of Whomsoever I may appear. I AM operative and expressive with or without a Personage and with or without any of the personages!" - August 25, 1951 A.D.F.D.
"The law was handed down from GOD by Moses' conviction because he had religion! Can you not see the mystery? And through and by Moses' conviction the children of Israel were given the Law, and those who accepted of the Law and lived according to same, they were blessed! But as I said, not only was it handed down to the children of Israel but also to the coming generations even all the way down to this present generation in which we are living! We are living legally and politically by the laws that were handed down through Moses! Aren't you glad!
"Truly might have one declared,
'The law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ!'
Nevertheless, before Grace and Truth were instituted into the children of men and into their business and affairs, the law was given by Moses and handed down to all of the children of Israel and those with whom they were connected! But I would like to say, Moses having a deep religious conviction - that was his conviction - and as he was so conscientious and sincere in doing the Will of GOD, his conviction shaped and fashioned the Ten Commandments and gave it to them! Aren't you glad!
'"But coming on down the line, those Ten Commandments were making preparation for this present dispensation!
'Thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind!'
The First and the Great Commandment, though it was given by Moses, it was great! Nevertheless, unless men live it and express it they would not be harmoniously affected by that Law!
"Then coming on down through the ages - in other words, through the different generations or dispensations, the Body called Jesus, of Whom you say I AM and by millions recognized to be! came through forty-two different generations and never lost a battle! Aren't you glad! But was born most insignificantly, but yet immaculately! The Immaculate Birth of Jesus was known to have been the first, to bring about and to bring out of His Conviction I mean, His Religious Conviction the Law of the Spirit of Life that was in CHRIST Jesus, to make you free from the law of sin and death, and so it did!
"Then I gave the Sermon on the Mount in the Name of Jesus Christ! That is why it is a great essential for each and every one to read the Sermon on the Mount, for it is the wording of the Law of the Spirit of Life that was in CHRIST!
"I have heard you say, 'When FATHER Speaks, it is law and order and everybody has to obey it!' They all have to obey it because it is law and it is order! A good many do not wish to obey it, but as in the experience of Moses' religious conviction, so in the experience of Jesus' Religious Conviction when He handed down that Law of the Spirit of Life that was in Him and given in the Sermon on the Mount; that Conviction has been made Law and Order and they must obey it!
"The institution of Law and Order in keeping with the Sermon on the Mount must be instituted in all Government from shore to shore and from land to land, for I have declared, 'I AM going into government wheresoever man is found!' And this Law shall be effectively instituted and it shall be carried out even as I have declared, 'I AM going into the governments, not only the Government, as one, of this nation, but I AM going into the governments of all nations!'" - May 27, 1953 A.D.F.D.
"The Sermon on the Mount is the Foundation upon which the Peace Mission Movement stands, for it embraces all of the Fundamental Principles that govern and motivate the Eternal Living Force. And upon this Foundation all can be saved from every conceivable type and kind of undesirable condition, situation or circumstance.
"If the aggressor nations would stop their inhuman tactics of warfare, bloodshed and strife in their quest for power and possession, long enough to try out this formula for Peace, they would soon discover they could gain more through harmonization and unification, one with another, than they ever could through greedy conquest, division, hatred and strife." - March 13, 1951 A.D.F.D. - -Letter. to J. A. Woodson, Asst. Chief, Treasury Dept.
"That Sermon on the Mount will solve the problems of city, of state and of federal government! It will solve them all! It will adjust matters satisfactorily for every living creature, for every individual, for city, state and for every state in the union, and for every nation, language, tongue and people if they will but live that Sermon just as it was given! You were not there personally but you are required to live it and express it and take cognizance of it and reproduce it and bring forth to fruition the Characteristics and the Life and the Nature and the Attributes of Him Who gave it!" - May 17, 1950 A.D.F.D.
