FATHER DIVINE:
"We do not limit ourselves in our studies. Why is it men say at times, and teachers, 'You should have so many hours a day to study, limiting yourselves to some limited concept of man? You cannot expect to increase and multiply and transcend the barriers and limitations of them unless you transcend the limitations of their concepts and recognize the ever presence of GOD.
"Truly might have one said:
Unless those days be shortened, there shall be no flesh saved, but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened .
"It is a privilege to live in this recognition where the shortening of the time and of the seasons and the cause for things to mature before they would have matured heretofore is the mystery. GOD is doing a quick work and cutting it short in righteousness.
"Why should you be obliged to go to school a certain exact number of years before you graduate? Why not prove yourselves and increase in knowledge and wisdom and understanding, for GOD is Omniscient and ready to inspire you with more wisdom, more knowledge and understanding in two or three years than man can give you in four or six. That is what I AM talking about!
"Then believe it and launch out in it and sincerely seek it, and you will get it. You need not have to go through the full term, but yet get the same message and more besides. That is what I AM talking about!
"GOD will increase you and will multiply you and will cause you to be more deeply inspired, more alert and more understanding than any ordinary person. You need not ever consider just taking the course system and considering you must go according to the former systems of men. You should advance from that. You should get your diploma before you have concentrated the same number of years others had to go to school to acquire what they have, for GOD is Omniscient, GOD is Omnipresent and GOD is Ever Present and will teach you wisdom from every angle expressible if you desire to receive it, by instituting in your consciousness and consideration, mass instruction as well as mass production and mass construction." - July 24, 1940 A.D.F.D.
