Paul told the Christians at Rome how to do this:
'I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
'And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.' - Romans 12:1-2
Everyone who is called to live the CHRIST life is concerned with bringing the CHRIST within to fruition, and when this is birthed out and developed to Perfection, the body will not die. If there are no deaths, there need be no births. Therefore when people cease to propagate, they will cease to die.
The followers of FATHER DIVINE are concerned with recreating the Ideas and Opinions of GOD and bringing forth new beauties in the earth through the living of the perfect life and personifying GOD'S Virtues. As Peter said,
. . . if these virtues . . . be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our lord Jesus Christ. - II Peter 1:8
In today's world, with the problems of overpopulation, of illegitimacy, of widespread teenage pregnancies, and children being born with handicaps, deformities, diseases and addictions that are proving to be signs of a depraved humanity, followers of FATHER DIVINE are religiously convicted of the necessity of ceasing to propagate until one has learned to perfect oneself, that one might be qualified to bring children into the world.
Self control, not contraceptives or abortion, is FATHER DIVINE'S answer to the great need for birth control.
